I put this as the light instead of dark because these creatures are actually good there in my dragon story I’m working on. they were a to the goddess of life (goddess of water) from her love the air god (god of breath) and being loving and kind she wished to share them with the world so her and her love created 2 females and 2 males and released them in the vast desert for there they would be safe from any harm but they realized here there was little food and water so not wanting her beloved pets to die together they breathed the water of life directly into there bones where if death came upon them it was stored till life giving water poured over them awaking the slumbering sprit within and renewing the body to its former glory.
Sleep I may
Till life retunes
Sleep I will
Till the rain falls
And the gift of life returns
Fall rain
And quench my thirst
Awaken me to a bright new day
